The City of Hoover has its first-ever paramedic and fire marshal running for Hoover Mayor. Once you meet Frank Brocato you’ll know why Hoover citizens are thrilled.
As the longest serving member of the Hoover Fire Department (42 years), he has extensive knowledge of the City, its strengths, and its challenges. He began his career with the fire department in the early 1973 as a volunteer firefighter, and retired from his position as Chief Fire Marshal in February 2015. Brocato believes in service to citizens, and in support for first responders.
Brocato’s experience as a public servant in times of natural disasters, large-scale emergencies, public gatherings, and community celebrations, such as visits by the United States President to the City of Hoover, have prepared him for the leadership position of Mayor.
